On Wednesday, October 16th author, Willie Etta Wright came to Oak Park to share her story and to read to 3rd grade students. Wright talked about why she wanted to be a writer, her education and her journey to being a published author. Then students got to hear her read her story. Check out some photos of this wonderful experience. Copies of her book, “Grandma Mable, Are You Able?”, will be available for check out from the library soon.
